I do not know what to put in certain mandatory fields, what should I do?

I you are uncertain, please leave a note in the corresponding field. We will ask you if we require further information from you.

My software is not yet published, why do I need to publish it in the Helmholtz RSD?

The Helmholtz RSD is collecting metadata only, the source code will reside within your code repository, e.g. Helmholtz Codebase. This also holds for PIDs such as DOIs which the Helmholtz RSD can not issue. Lastly, you do not have to make your software entry publicly visible by leaving the "Published" switch to off.
