How to get featured
If you want to get featured, ensure your software entry on the Helmholtz RSD is complete and meets the minimum requirements, such as a the logo or a detailed description. Get more info about the requirements by following the “Become a Spotlight” button on our Spotlights page:
Once your entry is ready, reach out to the Helmholtz RSD team via support@hifis.net to start the application process. We will come back to you with further details.
Software Heritage Integration
Software Heritage is the largest archive of software source code, ensuring that your code is preserved for future reference and reuse. If you added your research software to Software Heritage, you can now reference it in helmholtz.software as well.
If you host your code on Helmholtz Codebase, your code is already preserved in Software Heritage (see this Blog post on hifis.net from 18. Oct. 2023). To reference it in the Helmholtz RSD, have a look at Step 3 of the Software Heritage documentation “How to archive and reference your code”.
