Mibianto
Mibianto is an easy to use web service for efficient compositional analysis of metagenomic sequencing data. By using FracMinHash on client side the uploaded sequence data is anonymized and drastically reduced in size.
What Mibianto can do for you
Mibianto is a metagenomics web server designed for compositional data analysis. The web server implements a FracMinHash based data preparation step on user side via webassembly to compress information. This allows the usage of larger datasets as input, as the overall amount of transmitted data is reduced by a factor of up to 245. The compressed data is send to the server and profiled. On the results page a wide range of additional data exploration may be performed, including:
- Quality Control
- Alpha Diversity: Quantifies the diversity of a microbiome
- Beta-Diversity: Ordination analysis to identify potentially interesting cluster formations with composition
- Operational Taxonomic Unit: Showing all detected taxonomies with pathogen highlighting
- Differential Abundance Analysis: Finding significant differences between features and groups
- Potential interesting samples: Shows the pathogenically most interesting samples for further analysis
