Second Helmholtz Software Award Winners announced
This year's Helmholtz Software Award call saw a total 35 submissions from 17 research centres. Based on reviews by a panel of 14 international experts, the committee representing HIFIS, HIDA, and the Helmholtz Open Science Office concluded the final decision on the awardees.
The winners are
Scientific Originality Prize
The main prize, awarded with 5,000€ goes to CP2K (Quantum Chemistry and Solid State Physics).
Sustainability Prize
Awarded with 3,000 €, the Sustainability Prize goes to Surfer (Human Brain MRI Analysis)](https://helmholtz.software/software/fastsurfer)
Newcomer Prize
The Newcomer Prize, endowed with 2,000€, is awarded to MemBrain v2 (Cryo-ET Membranes Analysis).
Congratulations
The Helmholtz RSD team congratulates all developers of for their exceptional research software solutions. The ceremony will be held at the Helmholtz Incubator Workshop on 24th November.
