What deus can do for you

Deus is a command line program for damage computations.

It can be used to calculate damages in a multi risk scenario with cascading hazard effects.

The main focus in the development was to have in earthquake (for example in Lima) that causes already some damage. Additionally this earthquake could trigger a tsunami that then causes even more damage.

Deus was build with this kind of scenario in mind, but can also be used for ashfall & lahars.

To support multiple hazards, it interacts with other services of the RIESGOS project and a method to convert exposure models to different schemas (SARA for earthquakes in South America to Medina for tsnuami handling).
